COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

We have lived in this apartment for about 11 or so years. We have many issues in the apartment that we have asked numerous times to be fixed and they never were. The main issue is the upstairs bathroom that caused it to flood downstairs literally rain. We have a video of that happening. Now there is mold and the walls are messed up and we told the manager at the time her name was Deanne Rivers she didn’t care to fix anything. Recently the neighbors house flooded and came into our house and they took off all the trim and never came back. Just placed fans in a my house which caused my electricity bill to raise. Nothing was done and that just happened now u can see there is mold behind where the trim was as well. And that was from the flood years ago.. there are simply things that were never fixed like the dishwasher and the ac . We have been harassed as well. Now we are receiving a termination letter and have no idea why . It is extremely unfair to live in such a house where things as simple as the fire alarms are not even up to code. A house that has mold in it.. now we’re being asked to move out and have no understanding or reasoning of why. This old landlord left this termination letter for the new landlord to deal with. She never liked us and would always discriminate against us hence why nothing was never fixed. She disliked speaking with us or anything that had to deal with us. She would report false statements about us as well. She has discriminated against us for the years she was the manager. This new manager just started about a month or 2 ago I want to say but Deanne left him all this stuff to terminate our lease and everything and it’s just so not right especially living in the apartment the way we have had to.. please let me know if anything can be done and we have no where else to go right now especially with how things are . We also want to stand up for ourselves and not be taken advantage of as we have been for years.. so after receiving the termination letter for no reason I had to say something because it just isn’t right and we have dealt with the issues & harassment, discrimination for way to long.
