  1. Waiver Of $400 For Each Remaining Month After Termination With 60 Days Notice.
  2. Waiver of $499 payback

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

1) On 30th October 2019, I have asked my leasing office to share the lease termination policy and I have received the document from info@livethevanguardofpolaris.com on next day. According to that, preferred employers lease agreement holders like me are exempted from payback of one time benefits($499) and future rental charges($200/each unused month) if i stay in the unit for at least 6 months of period , giving 60 days vacation notice and getting transferred because of my contract with the client( nationwide insurance group) ends. 2) After reading that lease termination policy document only i have signed on the lease agreement which is valid between 9th Nov 2019 and 8th Nov 2021. I still have that document for reference. 3) Recently my contract with my client( Nationwide insurance group), columbus, Ohio is ended and i got a new project in Des Moins , Iowa . my employer(Cognizant) is still same 4)As i am in the process of relocating to new client, i have asked the estimate for lease termination fee to leasing office manager. 5) Leasing office manager is saying that i need to pay $400/ every unused month as well as the discount that i got at the time of move-in. When i mentioned that i am belonging to preferred employer lease agreement and i was told that i will be exempted in case of employer driven transfer , she is saying that lease termination policy has been changed after i sign on the lease and that was effective from 01/01/2020. 6) I am strongly believing that landlord is not supposed to change the policy that was shared with the tenants that was shared at the time of agreement. Please help me to get my agreed benefits from my landlord.
