On 2018.10.26, I went back to the apartment to move the remaining possessions still on the premises. At 4:45 pm, upon exiting the apartment I noticed a living organism growing out of the wall where the drywall was damaged. The property management has claimed they have photos of the apartment upon check-out and it\'s quite clear they are threatening me to avoid suffering the consequences for their actions. Given how poorly the property management company treats their residents, this does not surprise me. The property management could have easily looked into the plumbing issue throughout the entire duration of the lease and they chose not to do so purposefully. The property management could have easily fixed the broken glass door, but they chose not to do so purposefully. The property management could have attempted to fix the drywall so something could have been done to remedy the public health issue that they are clearly aware of. There may have been mold growing in that wall for the entire duration of the lease and you are putting the health of the remaining residents in that building at risk by knowingly and willingly attempting to cover up the issue.

The attached photo shows that the rock that was thrown through the sliding glass door on 2018.10.14 damaged the drywall on the other side of the living room. The police officer who initially responded called the fire department because he thought he smelled natural gas when he entered the apartment. The fire department found no detection of natural gas and they said that it could be a sewage issue since I told them that the hallway bathroom plumbing was never fixed. The property management did not even inspect the drywall or the plumbing.

The attached photo shows that the door was still not fixed as of 3:15 pm on 2018.10.27 shortly before the apartment was officially checked out of. I was forced to clean the carpet with broken shards of glass still on the floor that were never cleaned up by the property management.

The attached photo shows that the door was still not fixed as of 6:45 am on 2018.10.25 and the remaining thirteen screws were still left on the side of the deck.

The broken door was never fixed and this was clearly done purposefully by the property management. Due to safety concerns, the apartment was not occupied on 2018.10.17 through 2018.10.27. The attached photo shows that the door was still not fixed as of 6:45 am on 2018.10.25.

The majority of the remaining glass that was still in the door frame fell out overnight since it was below freezing and there was still no heat in the apartment. It was clearly not safe to leave the door in that state. I ended up sweeping all of this glass into the corner in hopes that maintenance was going to clean it up since I was told the door would be replaced on 2018.10.15.

The police were called around 3 am when this incident occurred on 2018.10.14 and no maintenance personnel came to check on what occurred until 11 am because there is no emergency maintenance. The property management never cleaned up all of the glass from this incident and failed to fix the hvac system, so we were left without access to heat in freezing weather and a piece of wood with five screws attached to it as our

The attached photo is what occurred when the toilet was flushed with clean water or if the shower was turned on. This was never usable from day one and it was never fixed.

The majority of these issues were never fixed. It became quite clear that the property manager knowingly and willingly forced us to live in these conditions after she purposefully attempted to evict us only a month into the lease.

The HVAC system had several issues that were noted in the initial maintenance request on 2018.08.12. This was not fixed until 2018.10.16 and there was no explanation given by the property management regarding their negligence with this issue. Why was I asked to give feedback on 2018.08.23 for a maintenance request that wasn\'t initially looked at until 2018.08.31 and wasn\'t actually fixed until 2018.10.16?

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

- Never fixed the majority of the issues that were documented on the original move-in inspection report including mold in both bathrooms, no working plumbing or shower in the hallway bathroom, no working garbage disposal, filthy/damaged carpets, and too many other things to list. Apartment was supposed to be fully remodeled and management never did anything to remediate their blatant lies. -The property manager Miss Brittany Moore attempted to evict me after the first month of living in the apartment because she was more interested in retaliating against me for attempting to exercise my rights to live in a habitable apartment than actually doing her job. I clearly stated I was unaware of any utility bills due to her failure to train her leasing agents properly, but instead she willingly and knowingly put an eviction notice on my door without ever notifying me that I owed $121 for utilities. $320 worth of fines for three days of missing a payment I couldn\\\\\\\'t possibly have known about and then attempting to intimidate me with an eviction notice is beyond immorality. -The hallway bathroom that was never usable from day one had hot water leaking out of the faucet for multiple weeks. This was beyond unusable after this occurred and I was told to use the bathroom as-is without the plumbing ever being fixed. -No AC or heat from 2018.08.12 - 2018.10.16 with no explanation. -Deck glass door was broken on 2018.10.14. Left tenants in apartment with no heat and a wooden board with only five screws attached to the broken door frame for \\\\\\\"security purposes\\\\\\\". -Finally fixes HVAC issue on 10.16 and vacated apartment on 2018.10.17 due to the property management leaving the tenants in an extremely uninhabitable and unsafe apartment. -Discovered living organism growing out of hallway bathroom wall on 2018.10.26 and was never notified about what occurred. -Never properly explained deposit disposition charges or presented any burden of proof for said charges. -Never gave answers to any of the concerns and questions that were brought up in my emails about the deposit disposition charges. Nicole Benn waited two weeks to contact me back and continued to threaten me with no burden of proof or explanation for the charges that she levied against me. -Claims to have photos of the apartment after I moved out, which would mean the management is knowingly and willingly attempting to cover up a serious public health issue that was due to their negligence.
