COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

My apartment is infested with roaches. Dead and living roaches and their feces have been found in every cabinet and drawer of our kitchen, amongst our cooking tools and eating utensils, in the dishwasher and sink etc. This is a clear health and safety risk. We sent maintenance requests on two separate occasions to Aspen Square Management detailing the location and scope of the infestation. Orkin sprayed the affected area after each complaint, with no improvement. I sent a formal letter citing their breach of Florida Statute\\\'s Implied Warranty of Habitability, delivered by USPS Priority on November 2, 2017 (delivery confirmation attached). I also sent a follow up email on November 3, 2017 to get a first-hand confirmation of the letter\'s delivery, with no reply. I called my Aspen Square Property Manager, Carissa on Monday November 6, 2017 and reiterated the contents of the letter and requested that due to their breach of Implied Warranty of Habitability, I wanted to cancel the lease at the end of month without penalty and a refund of my $1000 deposit. She denied receipt of both the letter and email and stated that I should have sent maintenance requests everyday. She offered management walk-through with Orkin the next day to identify the source of the infestation and only after four weeks of weekly Orkin sprays, could we discuss cancelling the lease without penalty. These measures should have been taken at the first maintenance request on September 15, 2017. These conditions are uninhabitable, please advise.
