COMPLAINT : Landlord Breaching Contract/Condo Possibly Filled With Mold
Fair Resolution according to renter :
  1. Have Mold Inspector Come And Inspect The Unit
  2. Have AC Ducts Cleaned and Sanitized
  3. Remove Maintenance Charge as Property Manager sent the wrong vendor. She did not adhere to what my complaint was.

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

On 05/14/2017, I had placed a work order to have the AC Unit Cleaned because my toddler and I have been having adverse reactions. I believe there has been a build up of mold or sometime of contaminant that is causing us to get sick. On 05/16/2017, Incentive Properties sent an AC vendor who stayed briefly for 5 minutes to check if the unit was functioning. He basically said that there services do not clean or sanitize the AC unit. He recommended that I relay that back to the Property Manager. In email, I have communicated that I have found several vendors that will clean and sanitize the unit and will treat mold spores or any contaminants. The Owner initially refused, then offered only $150. As an owner, he is responsible for paying for the maintenance on the AC Unit. He has no fulfilled his obligation with doing so. In addition, the Property Manager has charged me the fee of $98 based on the findings that the AC unit was functioning, although that is not what my complaint was about.
