I recently moved into 3104 Ryan Jay Drive Apt 835, Charlotte, NC 28269 in the mid of june 2015. From the beginning of my stay i was experiencing itching. I thought it is some kind of allergy. Day by day it increased . So recently, i thought it may be due to bugs and i complained about it to the leasing office. They sent a guy for inspection and its confirmed that there are bed bugs. Now they are arranging for the bed bug treatment. And they are saying as per lease agreement ( Bed bugs addendum).i should have informed in the first two days . Since i missed it , they are asking me to pay for both inspection (55$ and heat treatment (550$). I am sure the bugs must be present before i moved in. Also the most recent review about the apartment community says that it has lot of bed bugs problem and the management asks the renter\'s to pay for it. Below is a link for the same http://www.apartmentratings.com/nc/charlotte/the-lodge-at-mallard-creek_704509009828269/review-111367039/ I inquired the management to provide me with a report saying that the apartment when rented to me was 100% bed bug free.But They refused to show me any such report.In Wake of their refusal to show me any such report that the apartment was bed bug free when we moved in on June,we kindly request the management to admit their mistake in renting us an apartment that has bed bugs and take care of the charges for inspection and treatment.
