I am writing in regard to the condition of my rental unit located at 44 Barbara St Apt 3R Providence, RI. I have previously voiced my concerns directly to you (the landlord-Steve Pizzo) as to the severity of the multiple health hazards occurring inside the residence. Upon the agreement of renting I also verbally advised of my son’s and my own severe asthma allergies and was advised of the maintenance taken in the apartments to be satisfactory-however it is not. The health hazards are as follows: 1) Multiple Vermin Infestations Multiple holes under the kitchen and bathroom sinks which are allowing rats to enter the residence- the traps and cleaning I have done are not sufficient to remedy this as I continue to see animal defecation in my cabinets and around my food. Cockroaches are continually being found in the kitchen area and are now spreading to the rest of the rooms. The sprays I have purchased have done little to curb this problem. 2) Mold I have mold growing around the kitchen sink which appears to be increasing no matter how often I attempt to rectify it. 3) Birds There are bird nests directly above the living and bedroom windows which is allowing excrement into the windowsills and therefore I am unable to safely leave or open my windows due to this,
