I lived in the building 11.5 years. The landlord is a very reasonable man but got old and detached from the building. He will find out the hard way who is Sal Novaj, who has been hired few years ago. Most of the tenants/employees here are very nice people but all afraid to complain as the leases will not be renewed or their jobs will be terminated. Sal Novaj is a con artist, pathological liar, incompetent and abusive person. He is abusing all doorman- they all leave. He refuses to pay them jury duty salary violating the law. He never calls back or e-mail back or communicates. He is harassing abusing the super whom we all love and a great guy and he cant take Sal's abuse any longer either. The ones here at the moment already leaving or looking to leave. Sal has been lying to landlord about everything. He has been serving me with 30 day termination letters 3 times- 2 Times "fake letter" to provoke me. He has turned my life into living hell all because I'm not willing to put up with his lying and bullying!! Sal is retaliating against me because Im not willing to put up with his lies an him and I have the paper trail and witnesses to prove it. Landlord has not been aware of that. All because I actually confronted him about him being incompetent and a liar. One example of lying; Sal has told my neighbor Bill Selby from 3B that he has called me many times and everyone is complaining about my piano playing and I don't care. All of which is a lie. Sal has never made one phone call to me or ever approached me and he knows he has no records of such calls as he never call or e mail anyone. He just harasses people in person and uses the legal system to evict people if they dare to challenge him. There have been many robberies in the building and Sal would not release the security cameras footage as he covers up crimes (I don't see any other reason for that). He made the doorman pay for a stolen phone when he knew exactly ho stole it from Mark at 4K. I have no neighbors upstairs (top floor) and to the right is elevator. Downstairs is my friend Scott ho is a musician and across my dear friends Donna and Patrick. Nobody is complaining about my playing....on the contrary. They all love it at present time. That's a fact and Sal is lying to the landlord like he is lying to everybody else. Washer dryer never works as Sal is too lazy to empty the quarters from the machines. I have a proof that Sal is being vindictive. Im also starting a petition to get rid of Sal.
