We found out we had a bedbug problem and considering a bedbug is a parasite the landlord did not provide us with a habitable living arrangement. When we told the managers about the issue it took them over a month to even schedule someone to come and look at it. When the pest guy arrived to do the treatment he told me and the manager that the bedbugs were coming from the apartment above us and that they didn't come from us at all. However, this pest guy also sexually harassed me when he was alone with me in the apartment which the apartment complex provided me with and I thought it was supposed to be a professional company. Instead, I get sexually harassed and who knows what else could have happened if I didn't leave at the time. After this happened the pest guy said the treatment would be not guaranteed because the bedbugs weren't coming from our apartment. HOWEVER, the manager is pressing us to pay half the cost of the bedbug treatment which wasn't our fault in the first place! We shouldn't have to pay anything for this cost because #1. The bedbugs didn't come from us as the pest guy said #2. I was sexually harassed in the comfort of my own home by a professional they provided me with!
