COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter) |
I discovered bed bugs found in the apartment, I informed management that they were discovered and was informed that an inspection by a pest control expert was going to be carried out to determine the severity of the problem. Upon inspection it was revealed that bed bugs were found around the apartment in various locations and rooms. My apartment manager informed me that they would carry out the extermination process once inspection was done and that they would purchase the extermination and then charge me for the services. I have only inhabited the apartment complex for 1 month, I have never encountered a bed bugs, and began to experience the ordeal after a couple of weeks from moving in. I have provided apartment management with email correspondence of the situation in detail, please reference the attached emails to this case. I feel the property is responsible for remedying the situation which make living conditions inhabitable to these parasites, and feel the cost of extermination and removal should lie with Legacy Crossing Apartments an Inland American Apartment Management, LLC.
