First thing in the morning I went in the office to let the resident manger know what I found and also see what they are going to do about this problem. mike the ( resident manger) told me that there is nothing that he can do for me it is my responds ability to fix the problem by calling an exterminator ... And that I have to pay for all cost....of $350.00 at this time I told him we threw out the bed and he said why did I do that, that I should have let him know first that I was going to throw it away. I felt kind of offended because I have these bugs in my house and no support for the resident manger. I told him that it was late and I read that if we spay the bed with the stuff that kills them and wrap it in plastics that is the way to do it so that's what I did.
I am already so overwhelmed with this whole thing and now to find out I had to pay for it I was speechless. At this time he began to tell me that someone else in my building has had it. And they didn't tell him he had to fine out by asking that person why they were throwing out there couch. I was very upset and told him that if someone else had this then maybe I could have gotten it from them?...he said no Because some one has to carry it in your house. I told him that I have stayed up late just to read up on this and it said that in an apt. complex they can travel from place to they next by a crack in the window, right under doors and if some already has it here more then likely they didn't know that that had it till they found it and by then it could have spread to other apts... He said NO because once you get it treated the only way you can get again is if someone brings it to you.... I have been so feeling so stressed out all day and crying because I felt like he should have informed our building if not the whole complex that someone had had it....because I understand confidentiality but what about the SAFTY and well being of the other residents.... He called the termanex guy and he said that he will be at my place between 12-1:00 . So when the exterminator came by to see my palace he at this time told me to get rid of my sons bed, curtains and e every thing on it. He also told me that the charge was going to be $450.00 ...at that time I told him that Mike (resident manager) said its $350.00 he said no because someone stiffed him the last time so now it $450.00. That he told mike that its a flat rate for the apts....
