I was promised to have my two living-room windows fixed since the beginning of my lease (August 2012) They have a 1 inch gap letting outside air in and they do not lock and have no safety for me in my apartment. During the winter my electric with my apt at 50 degrees was almost $200) My landlord kept saying they were on back order and told the city inspector that they would be replaced in the spring. One glass pane was broken and not fixed and eventually got bigger. Landlord busted the rest of it out instead of fixing it. I was told by the city inspector that he needed to fix my dryer hook up, my landlord said it was my responsibility and the inspector said it was not mine it was his being the landlord, he did not fix it and told me I needed to do it. I have been gone house and dog sitting for three weeks and I came to get my mail and saw my windows were all closed and my door was tapped closed. I was told by the tenant next door that the landlord went through my window to get into my apartment because I was not answering him. I did not receive any phone calls from him or any form of communication to have permission to access my apartment. I was late on rent a couple months ago and he came to my apartment at 10:30 p.m. and banged on my bedroom windows until I awoke and answered the door, again no phone calls from him. He has left his card for me but I work long hours and did not have the time to call him until the weekend. I have not had my garbage taken the last two months and the lawn has not been mowed, the tenant next door had to call a family member to mow it because it was so long, walkways and parking lot was not shoveled and were dangerous. My bedroom has black mold that continues to grow in the window seal, creases of the carpet by the wall and on the edges of the wall from the windows not closing all the way. My carpet gets very wet when it rains a lot causing more mold to grow, and it smells.
