COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter) |
I was told I could have and use a treadmill in my apartment since the first day of the lease. The neighbor called the cops on me for making too much noise running on the treadmill. The landlord said the neighbor was out of line and that I had permission to use the treadmill. Now, I'm being evicted for "Quiet Enjoyment" violation. I told landlord I would cease all operation of treadmill, but he has ignored this remedy. I have never missed a rent payment and am a good tenant. I only have 2 months left of my 12-month lease. I am being harassed, embarrassed, and wrongfully removed from my apartment.
