About 3 weeks after moving in to my apartment (August 15), I began to get small bites on my body, but they were few and far between so I assumed they were spiders. Over time the bites began to get more frequent and numerous, so I went to my physician, Dr Austriem, she said they were either spider or bedbugs. So I began to search around and spray thinks down with rubbing alcohol and it seemed to help, but on the night of Tuesday the 20th of November, I woke in the night and found a small, brown, spade shaped insect crawling on me. I knew it was a bedbug. I managed to capture one in a small glass jar, just in case I needed it as evidence, on Wednesday 21st, I called my apartment manager Rick Jahn and informed him of the situation. He told me that he would take care of it, and a notice was placed on my door. I packed up all my clothes into bags and cleared him space to do whatever he needed to do in order to rid myself of these parasites. The spraying was done on Friday the 24th at 10am. I left my apartment empty for two days, and I have now come back, and the bites have returned. I do not believe I should have to pay for any of this treatment, as I have never in my life had an issue with bedbugs before moved here, and I have reason to believe that they were here before arrived and I was not informed of this.
