1.Since this case was opened, I received an email from the landlord bullying and threatening me. I would upload documents and such, but this website errors every time I try to.

1. The entire bill was $1,070. $450 would not be half.
Explanation: By October 31, I will be able to move, and can find a sub-leaser or just terminate lease depending on what landlord agrees to. This way there is no more scare that bed bugs may come again the future.

1. Rent took all my check. I can't pay for any of it. I've read that bed bugs are parasites and that parasites make a place uninhabitable, therefore becoming the landlord's responsibility. If there is no proof that there were no bugs in the duplex prior to tenant (me) moving in, then there really isn't much of an argument on the landlord's behalf. I cannot afford to pay higher rent to pay the landlord back.
If the landlord agrees to release me from the lease (by the end of the month) and return security deposit, I will pay the entire cost of heat treat when they come this Thursday.
Explanation: Heat treat is scheduled for this Thursday. I can move out by the end of this month provided landlord releases lease and reimburses security deposit after I clean.
