rental went into foreclosure from renters not paying rent.

By Laine

I have to rentals in 2 different states that the renters just stopped paying rent after a couple months this resulted in mortgage not being paid and now foreclosure. How do I get them out if I cant afford a lawyer to evict? One is in Massachusetts which I signed a deed en lieu in Feb and told the bank it was empty but found tentants are still there after 3 years nonpayment of rent. And the bank says they will cancel the deed en lieu if the property is not vacant. I sent a notice  to vacate but no response as of yet from tenant. what are my options? The other one is in Illinois and I filed and one back possession of house and the people are still living there waiting for me to call the sheriffs to evict them. What is the point of someone who knows they lost an eviction case for nonpayment of rent to sit around waiting for the sheriffs to physically put them out?
