Lease may not be legal
By Malcolm
I have been having problems with my new landlord. I have only lived in my new place for about 2 months and verbal promisses and commitments that the landlord made both before and after the lease was signed do not exist now. My mistake was I did not get these verbal promises and commitments written into the lease. This was my stupid mistake and I know that. My issue is this: I have found out my landlord does not actually own the house, her son does. The landlord signed the lease but her son (the owner) did not. Is this lease even legal?
