Land Contract vs Lease
By Zach
I leased a house last year and a couple months after I moved in I signed a land contract with the owner. I would like to get a roommate to help out with everything but she is trying to stop that and has made several comments on evicting me. My payments are always on time to her. My question is does the land contract supersede the lease? And what control does she have with not letting me have a roommate?

It both has their own scope and restrictions. My best advice is to seek some legal assistance to scrutinize the documents. |
