I’VE BEEN RENTING A LOWER DUPLEX FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS. OUR UPSTAIRS NEIGHBOR HAS ROACHES, & THEY ARE TRYING TO MOVE DOWNSTAIRS, I’M OUT. I GAVE THE LANDLORD A 30 DAY WRITTEN NOTICE ON 9-5-11, SAW LAST ROACH I WAS GOING TO SEE ON 9-3-11. TOLD LANDLORD WE COULD HELP EACH OTHER IF HE WOULD ALLOW ME TO VACATE BY END OF SEPT. THIS WAY HE CAN DO THE NECESSARY PAINTING, INSTALL NEW WINDOWS HE PURCHASED 2 YRS AGO
& REDO THE BATHROOM THAT HES BEEN PROMISING SINCE WE MOVED IN. CAN MY LANDLORD ENTER MY UNIT TO DO THESE UPGRADES WHILE I’M PAYING THE RENT?? I’M HOPING HE LETS US VACATE BY 10-5-11, & HE CAN PRORATE RENT. I’VE PAID HIM OVER $72K IN THER LAST TENS YEARS, & WAS NEVER LATE.
