What should I do?
By ed
If you are in a joint lease with another person and they kick you out is it legal for them to sue you for the remaining amount of the lease and if so what are the rights of the person who was kicked out, without notice, in florida state?

If they kicked you out, they are the ones that ended the agreement not you. Although, you haven’t exactly stated why you were kicked out. If you signed a lease for 6 months– you are responsible for the contract… but if the landlord chose to end the contract early– that’s their deal! |

Yes it is legal to sue anyone over anything. There is no law that prohibits anyone from suing. So based on your question, absolutely yes. If you want to sue someone, go for it. However, unless you have a good case you could end up in a coutersuit. |

Why did you get kicked out? Did you violate your agreement somehow? |
