Roaches, landlord admits upstairs apt culprit

The day I moved my belongings into Callaway apartments, formerly known as Fairway, I saw a baby roach and immediately told an employee with the initial D in the office. Surprise in the voice as a response..really??  I had my apartment sprayed immediately following New Year’s Day and almost every week after that.  Living and sleeping with cockroaches which come out of the walls, into my drains, sinks, stove, crawling up the walls, falling on my bed into my sheets, blankets, pajamas, crawling across my towels, shower curtain and every nook and cranny since December has made me violently ill and continue to retch over the unsightly insects.  They crawl on my counters while and during the time I am cooking and on my toaster and on my burners and the back of my microwave and when you walk you mistakenly step on them and so you cannot go barefoot at all.

Stay away from the place.  Do a GAMA search from your Health Department’s Environmental office and talk to the health inspectors who have been coming here for years.  GAMA search on a Health Dept site whether it be city, state or county cost $1.00 and you will learn about any property you are interested in using, renting, etc.  DO IT and save yourself the pain, suffering and anguish which I have endured living at Callaway Apartments.
