Depends on the renovations, your lease and the laws in your state. If your landlord is installing new carpet and painting… no. If your landlord is renovating due to fire/water damage. Also no. This is what renter’s insurance is for. Just because (upgrades) renovations of the entire apartment where you lose access to bathroom and cooking facilities, usually yes. |
