Change in ownership

By yester64

Hello,
my story is this.
The grandmom of my wife died recently and now the kids are fighting over the property (house and a guesthouse).
As far as i know there is the situation that 1 aunt is on the deed and then there is a will with two other siblings on it.
To me it doesn’t matter since i don’t have nothing to gain.
But recently the one aunt wants to collect rent. Thing is, we never had a contract since it was within the family. But now she wants also money.
She did not send any notice to let us know of the change of ownership and not about to whom to send the rent. Plus i did not get a notice of the rent increase which is 50% of the what i pay. There are 3 people living within the guest house and each share the rent.
Now what should i do? I will move out but i am not sure what the proper way is for me to know whom i can pay a rent or not.
I don’t even talk to her anymore because she uses intimidating tactics and yelling to get money.

Thank You.
