I rent a house in probate
By curiousjon
Hello,
Here is my back story:
I rent a house in California for over 7 years, owner has been deemed unable to manage her estate and it has been assigned to the state(via a property management co) and is in probate.
If the owner passes and there is no will, what happens? Do they sell the house? Keep renting to me? Do I get first dibs on the property?
Thank you for your help.
