landlord will not do anything about bedbugs

               daughter lives on Hill st in mesa az in a apartment, Up and down her street people are throwing out their mattresses, her father-in-law does pest control, they fund they had a infestation of bedbugs, they live on the top floor. It was inspected by pest control, and her landlord will not do anything about it. First of all he said , oh I’m having the same problem in another building. Her downstairs neighbor, threw out all his stuff in front of apt building.  The landlord is well aware of this problem. Said they would probably,have to vacate to get rid of them, the pest control told them the same. She has 3 young children, nothing is being done. Her phone number is 228-1447. (480).So I co-signed for her and I have to pay rent for bedbugs, they have to move out because they are crawling everywhere. And you get a response, well you probably brought them. So its not their problem. This has to stop. And then I am held to the 5 months they have left, to pay rent for the bedbugs to live there. Need your help. Please call her, with any advice, I am not letting this landlord, get away with this. We need the right people to go to. There is a building next door to her, and a housekeeper was cleaning it. It is vacated, she said it had to be, it was infested with bedbugs. What rights do we have. I shouldn’t have to pay rent on a infested apt. But I will not let my young grandkids live in infestation. If you know who she can contact, please call her number I provided. I am not stopping here, why do people have to pay rent when they can’t live there?
