Greedy landlord/boss

By Kenny

I moved from fla. to NC around two and a half years ago with my wife and children. I acquired a job working for a guy who owned around two hundred homes in this and surrounding counties working and these old mill houses and the second month signed a monthly lease for one of the nicer homes forfive hundred a month. However the rent was taken out of my pay every week and was only was supposed to be taken four times in a  month to equal up to be 500. but about every three months or so there is an extra friday and he took it out then too wich exceeded the ammount due for rent. This happened nine times and i just did not realize because i just got used to the money being taken out towards rent every week. Last week he laid me off and served me with a nonpayment of rent and on it stated that we only had a oral, weekly payment agreement althougg i have a lease that says otherwise. The info on the claim basicly states the money was being paid every week and by that i should be ahead by around two months. So pretty much, they want to keep the money and take the house even tho im 9 weeks ahead. I go to court tomorrow afternoon, what do you think will happen? I have evidence showing i paid EVERY week and a video of repairs and mold that were requesteded and thetb promised to fix but didnt follow through. If they say too bad get out imma be po’ed!
