New lease and just informed of short sale
By Judith
I just renewed a 2 years lease in July 1st. My landlord calls this morning saying the hourse is in short sale and within 1 hour, there were 5 realtors showing the place (1 hour is not enough notice for me). I have a couple of questions:
1. Will the new owner honor my lease? (association requires approval every year, but they accepted the 2 years lease)
2. Is a 2 year lease binding in the State of Florida?
Thank you
