How much is too much info?

By Mandi

I am moving out of one apartment and was hoping to move into a place that I really liked. I am moving to avoid eviction. The prospective landlord faxed in a paper to my current landlord who in turn stated on the paper that our eviction processed have already started. Here’s the problem. My boyfriend and I, along with our neighbors, have been told that as long as we vacate our apartments on or by April 30th the landlord will not start the eviction processes. If we haven’t moved the process will start on May 1st. Is it even legal for one landlord to tell a prospective landlord that eviction processes have begun if they haven’t?
