Apt Office charging me $1000 for bed bug treatment

I have been at this apartment complex Brooks on preston in Plano TX for about 10 months now (15 month lease) and today morning I receive a notice that Iv to shell out $1000 for "bed bugs" found in my apt in a chekc done towartds treatment. The thing is "Pest Control" is part of the rent and i have scheduled it overy 2 weeks over the last year and everything was fine. Now the apt ppl say every bug except bed bug is thieit responsibility. This is utter nonsense. All my furniture is new and also my apt is decently clean. I need some advice how I can get myself out of this mess without litigation and courts. I am helpless. Any advice will be apprecited.

Bed bugs controlling and killing. At this time we do not know of any product that is in development specifically for bed bug control.we provide a list of do it yourself bed bug control pesticides treatments to kill.
