AC isn’t large enough for the apartment we’re in

By Mike Neill

We live in Prestion Pointe in Dallas Texas and we’re having issues with our AC unit. Here in Texas during the summer months it get’s to be between 99 and 110 degrees on a daily basis. We’ll generally this isn’t that big of a deal, but the apartment we live in has an ac unit that is only rated for about 700 – 800 sq ft and our apartment is about 1000 sq ft. My question is if our apartment managers refuse to give us an adequate AC unit then who can I report them to, and can we break our lease without penalty?

Hi Mike,

During summer season, taxes heated a lot also after it becomes very difficult when getting 700 – 800 AC unit instead of thousand Unit. Thus you need to read agreement on which it is exactly mention. for it also better to file a complaint with RPA
