What’s Legal for Security Deposits
By madinde
I am being billed for a cable being removed from the wall, 5 dishes I forgot in the dishwasher, a lightbulb, nicks in the entrance door? I paid a $750 NON refundable pet deposit, a $750 security deposit, a $75 key deposit and a $50 after hours gym key deposit. They are also saying the kitchen floor needs to be replaced and that there is stratches on the floor in the kitchen. They are also charging me for dirty blinds. I cleaned for 2 days and took pictures. I am disputing it with them but I’m not sure what is legal for them to charge me for.
