no help from landlord with mold

I live on the bottom level of an apt. Last summer we had a problem with the a/c in the building. All the units above us a/c would drain down into our apt and gross water would be all over the carpet. They ended up fixing that problem. Now the other day when I was moving the furniture around I found a HUGE

I found a huge area of mold and I have spoken to the landlord several times with no results. The landlord basically saying its not their problem and that they are not going to do anything. I have a young son who has been very sickly over the past 6 months and have a feeling this is why. What are my options here there is no way the landlord is going to help me. I can’t afford to move or get it cleaned myself. I need this cleaned up asap.
