Question regarding move-out date

By Craig

Hello, I just had a simple question regarding my move out date and the calculation of rent.

So I moved in on August 20th, and based on a full three-months rent, I would have through the 20th of November to move out without incurring any additional rent payment correct? Essentially I am confirming that a months rent implies that a move in date of the 20th would constitute a move out date of the 20th by 11:59pm.  If I were to move out the 21st (the landlord was unable to come to inspect the apartment nor had anyone planning to move in or look at the place on or before that date of the 21st anyway, so I was definitely not preventing the initiation of a new lease) I would just be subject  to the extra-days rent deduction out of my deposit, correct? (in all reasonability, with no damage to the room)
