Is my lease binding…
By Unemployed...
My husband has lost his job locally but found another job in a different state. As I was reading our lease agreement I noticed that, although the lease is in both our names, only I signed it. Would this make the lease invalid and therefore release us of the remaining 3 months of the lease?

Yes, your lease is valid. Its clear you are seeking a technicality to terminate your lease. You would be best to discuss the situation with management to see what type of penalty you are required to pay. |
