Can an apartment manager come in to my apartment, into my bedroom, without my permission and take pictures?

It looks like your renting in California…. So California law for Landlord entry into your rental can be done IF there is an emergency, court order, agreement to make repair etc.
In order for your landlord to enter your home and take pictures he would need to provide reasonable notice (24 hours) AND provide you with the date, approximate time, and purpose for entering your rental.  PLUS, your landlord should only enter your rental during normal business hours, unless you agree to allow him to come after or before normal business hours.
The above is taken straight from California Civili Code Section 1954 pursuant to subdivision (f) of Section 1950.5
