The owner where I live follows all the high scholl around with his video camera. He has harassed my son and cussed him out over some black kids that werent even with him, he then later apologized to me for doing that and admitted he had an anger problem and he needed to learn to deal with that. On 04/28/2011 3 black boys came to my house looking for my son, my son stepped outside to talk to them and the owner came and chased them off the property and then came back to my house and proceeded to tell me they were little pumks and had smart mouths when I told him I will just tell my kids they cannot have any more company over because I was not going to deal with him chasing people off with his camera he said I can just move on the 1st of June. Today his manager came over and brought me an eviction notice, what should I do because I think he is discriminating because my sons friends are black.

What’s wrong with having black friends? Maybe he had bitter memories with the black. Because he’s angry with them. He must have a good reason for that. Even if you have not violated the rental agreement and have not been late paying rent, a landlord can usually ask you to move out at any time (assuming you don’t have a fixed term lease) as long as the landlord gives you a longer notice period. Ask your landlord to give you enough time to find a new place to vacate. Well in my opinion, moving to a new place can help you and your son with his discrimination. When doing so, he will no longer chased the kids.
