tire og bogus noie complaints

Hi I am a 28 y/o married nursing student with no kids. i live in a really nice apartment community that I have enoyed very much. Before I signed the lease to my apartment my previous  landlord warned me about my aggrevating neighbor downstairs who complains on everyone around her. Lately to my surprise my new landlord  have been contacting me on bogus complaint of loud noise.  Im guessing she isnt aware of my neighbor’s history of irrational  complaining. However, its driving me nuts. I really dont know much about equal housing laws and I dont feel like my landlord is treating me fairly because she only acts her complaints with out even hearing me out!!! Please someone help me!!!
