the landlord from hell

Warning to all San Jose residents and friend and neighbors of the Burbank and Bunea Vista district- DO NOT RENT FROM VIVIAN D. MORSE. She is a looney old bat and will ride your ass all the way to the gates of hell. The apartments may seem reasonable but they are falling apart and she will refuse to fix anything and blame her negligence on you. She is a slumlord of the worst degree, and she has all her tenants terrified of eviction, which she does regularly, and with impunity. She discriminates, makes up arbiatrary rules, raises the rent on tenants she wants to get rid of, and breaks the law and gets away with it on a regular basis. My story is a long one. Don’t become another one. Don’t be fooled by her sweet old lady act. She is a cold bitch and will screw you over any way she can. Don’t fall for it.

Truly, the Richmond Avenue Apartments and the demon who runs them, is worse than anything you can imagine. I’d like to say Vivian D. Morse is just an old lady who is a little rigid about running her apartment complex, but it is QUITE the contrary. She is a conniving, manipulative and downright deceitful CUNT who shouldn’t be in a position of managing people’s homes. And, trust me, she tries her best to dictate every tenant’s every move—in or out of their homes. If you’re not cooperative with her and refuse to play her games, you will be threatened with a 30 day notice and in most cases, you will actually be served with one. She finds a great deal of satisfaction in seeing her tenants squirm and will show zero mercy if there is ever any issue with repairs, etc. She wastes a lot of people’s time and doesn’t care to apologize for missing appointments, etc. She isn’t easy to get a hold of unless she’s waiting to harass you, she will demand to “inspect” your home at any given moment and will threaten you if refuse to let her illegally enter your home without cause.
This lunatic keeps every single one of her tenants living in fear and relishes the pleasure she gets from it. Vivian D. Morse is the cat and her tenants are the canaries.

Oh wow, that is such a cool post! You can’t fool me- I can see that you’ve rented from “dear” ol’ Vivian!, A.K.A. the “Vivinator!” I recorded each and every one of her illegal acts, and the only reason I didn’t sue the Depends off of her is that I’m sick and tired of dealing with her conniving prune-butt! It’s not funny-not for the poor souls who have to rent from her! She preys on the impovershied who can’t afford to live anywhere else, and threatens to throw anyone out who even looks at her cross-eyed! She is a power hungry little tin jesus! Some people need to get over themselves!
If this post saves even one person-it will be worth it! I believe in karma- but sometimes it takes a mighty long time! She’s damn lucky that I have too many other problems to waste time dealing with her! I am not vindictive or hateful, so maybe I’m no match for her, so it’s probably just as well. I will say one thing though- most of her tenants are the nicest, best people you’d ever care to meet-and if it wasn’t for her, living there would have been great. However, word is definitely getting around, and the quality of her tenants is on the decline. So, if you also have fallen victim to the vivanator, please respond to this post, and save another soul! She is getting loonier and loonier. Once again-GOOD PEOPLE OF SAN JOSE, DON’T RENT FROM VIVIAN D.MORSE!!!!! You have been warned!

I rented from Vivian for over a year and found her to be very helpful and pleasant. I was sad when it came time for me to leave and wish I could still be there. She’s the greatest landlord I’ve had and I’m a little shocked to see such bad remarks about her. She was always very kind to me and the only issue I ever had with her is she called me to tell me my car was leaking oil all over the driveway and I needed to clean it up. I was first worried about my car but found nothing wrong. When I went home I realized it wasn’t from my car and called her and she was so embarrassed and apologetic when I said I didn’t believe it was my car that left a lot of oil on the pavement. She is awesome and in no way did I find her to fit the descriptions given from these other people. I wish everyone had the same experience I did while living on Richmond Avenue. Very great place and wonderfully managed in my opinion.
