Landlord Harrassing Us!

Hello. I have a question about my landlord.
We pay him bi-weekly, in cash.

Recently, he will call us a couple times a week, wanting to know when he will get his money! My husband made the mistake of telling him the days he gets paid, and now our landlord will call us on the day we get paid at 8am!!

If we dont answer, he will continue to call all day, leaving messages, until we answer.
We’ve told him "We will pay you the monday after we get paid" but he still calls.

He’s called as early as 7am and as late as 10pm.

This is simply annoying. Any suggestions on what we should do?
