key charges
By Brandy
I moved out of my apartment in mid-September. I left my keys on the kitchen counter. They are charging me $100 for not bringing the keys to their office. The lease says I need to give the keys back within 3 days after moving which I believe I did. The lease does not say I have to return them specifically to their office location, nor did I receive exit instructions to do so. Am I liable to pay the $100 even though I did technically return the keys?
