Is our Landlord allowed to do this?

By KelKoch

A woman called my cell phone to say that she was now our property manager and that she was coming for an inspection.  We received no notice from our landlords and after googling the "property manager"’s name, it turns out she is the landlords daughter.  Do we have to let her in?

As long as there was no written notice of the change of property management, then it’s your right to not let the “new property manager” in. Or maybe you can call your landlord directly and clarify it with them. For all you know, that phone call may have been unauthorized so I think it’s best to be cautious about it. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
