Your landlord can only evict you for legal reasons for example if you failed to pay rent and late fees or if you breached your lease agreement. As a tenant it is your responsibility to pay your monthly rent and maintain the living condition of the rental property. Your landlord must follow the legal eviction process of serving you with a written notice first then filing an eviction case through your local county. He cannot force you out of the unit without going through the court. If your landlord wrongfully evict you then you can file a complaint against him through the RPA.
