Job transfer addendum clause change by landlord

By Sammy

Brief:
I have signed Job transfer addendum when I move to my current apartment. Now that I have a new job, the landlords are not accepting it saying that I have changed my employer.
More details:

I was searching for a apartment where the landlord can permit me to prematurely terminate the lease when I my job gets transferred to a new location. Some of the landlords  have this option and they call it "Job transfer addendum".

I finally found one and they offered me this option and I have signed on it.
I already know my situation that If I have to move to a different Job, I have to change my employer. So, I have specifically asked them this question twice and they have answered that all they need is a offer letter from my employer.
I have signed for an 1 year lease and after 6 months, I now have a new job with new employer.
When I gave my offer letter to the landlord, they are not accepting it. They are saying that my employer has changed  and job addendum does not apply. They are asking me to pay total 4 months rent. They have mentioned it comes under section 13 and I have no option but to pay 4 months rent.
They have orally saying one thing and claiming now that the signed paper means other.
When I ask her that, one of their representative have confirmed when I asked for this question. She simply says that she has nothing to do with the conversation and she simply goes by what I have signed in paper.
Then, I have tried looking into what I have signed in Job addendum. It does not mention anything about current/new employer when it explains the lease. All it has is, few details of my current employer like name, address, representative on the top and then the following para…
"It is understood that Tenant is subject to transfer by his/her employer. Accordingly, it is agreed that, in the event Tenant is transferred more than 30 miles from his/her place of employment at the time of lease application by his/her employer, Landlord will permit Tenant to prematurely terminate the lease…"
Can I file a complaint? Do I have any options?
