neighbor smoking in a non smoking building

I have been dealing with a neghbors who smokes inside her apt in which we share a wall and her smoking comes into my apt through a vent. I have told manager/owner many times. After a year of on and off complaints manager informed me neigbors lease was old and it didnt state apt was non smoking and had her sign another however problem still persist. Manager has been in my bedroom and bathroom and smelled the smoke for herself but neighbor still smokes me out my bedroom and I sleep in living. And I have a 3 yr old toddler. Is there anything I can do either with the neighbor or manager?

Hi, since you said the manager had the neighbor sign a new lease with no smoking information then you are free to report it back to the manager. if the manager wont take necessary action then you can break the lease early because your apartment is no longer habitable especially that you have a child. If you think the neighbor broke the law about smoking in non smoking ares then you can call the police.
