Hoarder

We are currently renting a home in Colorado..we signed the lease with our landlord a couple of days before move in..when we looked at the house, the basement was half full of their stuff, as was the garage.  The landlord said that everything would be gone.  The day we moved and picked up the key, almost all of the stuff was still there..he said he couldn’t fit it all in the truck..we were already packed in our truck, so we didn’t have much of a choice but to accept it.  Now, I have a possible change in employment and may have to move before the lease is up.  Is it fair to say that the lease became null and voide when we did not get the property we were promised?

hai… yes i think it’s null and void because the lease is a contract and binding therefore you should receive what is stated there. you can talk to the landlord and explain why the lease was voided and you’ll just pay as a monthly basis. I think 30 days notice is enough.
