12 Units, 11 parking spots

By Daj1986

I currently rent in Lauderdale by the Sea, FL.  I signed a lease in August and the landlord at the time was great.  In December he sold the property to a new owner that is absolutely worthless.  On top of doing absolutely nothing to improve the grounds he has done nothing about the parking.  There are 12 units and 11 spots for parking out front.  If that isnt bad enough, he allows one unit to have multiple cars.  He tells people to park across the street at the hotel if there is not enough parking but there is a chance the hotel will tow the cars.  What can be done to remedy this?  I have sent two official letters and nothing has been done to fix the parking situation.

It looks like you need to do better than an official letter and call the landlord if this really is a big much of a problem to you. There could be a reason why one you his tenants has multiple parking space that he didn’t explained to you the reason with. Did you sign another lease agreement?
